Working in the Wyre Forest to restore and conserve the landscape

Wyre Community Land Trust

Wyre Community Land Trust (WCLT) works in partnership with landowners and public bodies to manage areas of land in and around the Wyre Forest, Worcestershire.

Based at St George's Farm, Bewdley, we have developed a herd of pedigree Dexter cattle. They deliver a conservation grazing programme to help restore the traditional meadows and orchards of the Wyre.

WCLT currently manages around 140 hectares of orchards, meadows and woodland. The work programme is delivered by our farm manager, trainees and a team of enthusiastic volunteers.
